Snow days

Snow Days

Snow days are all very well and good, while the kids are out sledging and making snowmen. Then they come home, cold and wet and you hear the dreaded words MUM I AM BORED !

THEN WHAT?

This is when you need an SOS pack to help keep the children entertained and stop the boredom in its tracks

What to include in an SOS pack

Colouring books

Coloring books and pens are a must in any SOS pack from simple colouring books to the more intricate designs depending on what your children like and what age they are.

Some of my favourites are the Top model books, these cover a wide age range and include books with stickers, stencils, fashion design and Make up designs These really will keep kids entertained for hours.

Here are two of my favourites

Fantasy Faces stencil book helps you to create beautiful fantasy creature faces

 A good family game

Choose a  game everyone can play together but can easily be adapted from a few players to more, so they can dip in and out of games as they please.

The Haba games are brilliant as the cover a wide age range and are quick games from 10 minutes plus

One of our favourites is the Rhino Hero game perfect form age 5 plus and suitable from 2 to 5 players

Craft packs

A good craft activity that will get them making and crating and keep them entertained for a good while

The Clockwork solider craft packs are fantastic as they need to glue, create no mess and engage older children aged 7 plus giving them a few hours away from screens.

The Maga-bot and flying Dinosaur are always favourites in the shop
